About Me

Hello! 

I'm Amanda Soltero and I'm from Columbus, Nebraska. I'm a 22 year old that is currently living in Lincoln, Nebraska as I attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Go Big Red! I will be graduating in May of this year with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Being a reporter is a huge passion of mine. There is no place I'd rather be than in front of a camera on scene of a breaking news story, letting the people know what is going on. I get such a rush from it and know this is exactly what I want to do for a career.

I haven't been involved in pageants long, in fact, I've only competed in three! The first being Miss Nebraska Teen USA in 2010, then since I won, I competed in my second pageant, Miss Teen USA. My third would obviously be Miss Nebraska USA this year! The Miss Universe Organization is such an amazing organization and I'm thrilled to be a part of it again. Along with my directors, Vanbros and Associates! Miss USA here I come! What a dream.
